firstThe Lead Data Scientist uses mathematics, statistics,
modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high
volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions. The Lead
Data Scientist works on problems of diverse scope and complexity
ranging from moderate to substantial.The Lead Data Scientist
develops, maintains, and collects structured and unstructured data
sets for analysis and reporting. Creates reports, projections,
models, and presentations to support business strategy and tactics.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment
specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent
judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties
and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses
independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and
determining the best course of action.The role requires an in-depth
understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate
throughout the enterprise. This role will create reports,
projections, models, and presentations to support business strategy
and tactics.This role influences department's strategy, contributes
to the decision making on complex issues regarding technical
approach for project components, and works on model building use
cases with minimal supervision.Exercises considerable latitude in
determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Develop and
validate machine learning and statistical models, predictions,
reports, and presentations to support business strategy and
tactics.Develop, maintain, and collect structured and unstructured
data sets for analysis and reporting.Research and evaluate
innovative analytical methodologies, approaches, and
solutions.Collaborate with business, analytics, and data teams to
set objectives, approaches, and work plans.Interpret and
communicate analytic results to analytical and non-analytical
business partners.Understand department, segment, and
organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their
linkages to related areas.Compile and present regular and ad-hoc
project status reports.Use your skills to make an impactRequired
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such
as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or
related quantitative field3 years of advanced data analytics with
experience creating reports, projections, models, and presentations
to support businessWorking knowledge of Python, R, SAS, SQL,
MATLAB, DataRobot or similar statistical and scripting
toolsExperience developing and validating machine learning and
statistical forecasting models or predictive models, including
Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Neural Networks, cluster
analysis, regression analysis, time series, and
forecastingExperience in cloud computing, Azure, Google Cloud, or
AWSExperience in developing, maintaining, and collecting large
structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and
reportingAbility to exercise independent judgment and decision
making on complex issues regarding job duties and related
tasksExperience interpreting and communicating analytic results to
analytical and non-analytical business partnersNaturally curious
and comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrate critical thinking---
Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (Master's, PhD) in a
quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Data Science,
Mathematics or Statistics and/or related quantitative
fieldHealthcare or managed care experienceExperience building
large-scale predictive modelsExperience in Big Data environment
specifically Databricks and/or PySparkExperience in cost of care

compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting

certifications, etc.$126,800 - $174,500 per yearThis job is
eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is
