We are searching for an experienced Medical Assistant or CNA for the Wound Care Center. Current certification as CNA or Medical Assistant. Please submit RESUME with application. Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA Hours: 24 flex 32hrs Shift: DAY, 7:45am - 4:15pm Looking for:

• Must have successful completion of a Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant/Aide program.
• BLS certification is required.
• Equal to completion of four years of high school or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience with an electronic medical record and/or health related computer software is preferred.
• Customer service experience or training preferred.
• A minimum of one (1) year work experience in healthcare setting or related medical office or clinic practice is preferred.
• Fluency in a language other than English is preferred.
• National third- party certification is required for medical assistants within 13 months of hire.

                Position repots to Manager, Wound Care Center or designee. Perform a variety of clinic duties related to providing assistance to nursing staff in carrying out wound care treatments and medical office tasks related to ongoing department functions.
